Next Sat. Im hosting a shower for fsil.
We have the caterer and the cleaning lady (LOL me).
My aunt and cousin made an awesome wishing well and the cake still has to be ordered.
What else do I need? Friday is "Decoration shopping day" with my cousin and sister (also in the bridal party).
What fun games are there besides bridal bingo?
I know this should be on LIW but, I love it better here.

--- Tablecloths, linens, napkins, plates etc. if they are not being provided by the caterer.

Do you have favors and prizes for games?
Target's dollar section is perfect for that. I made for my sister's shower a little trivia quiz about her. I think it was true or false questions and things like, What color underwear is the bride wearing right now? Just to embarrass her a little. Everyone loved it.

at my shower, my BM bought bridal trvia - it was a deck of cards the bride to be reads out loud. it's very funny! and some of the Q's are

so whoever got the most Q's right, won a prize

I just went to one last week and we did a word scramble of wedding related words while we waited for the bride to come. I am usually not into games, but it was quite entertaining.

Oh, haha, I don't know what kind of relationship you have with your FSIL, but for my sister's shower, I bought some really funny gag gifts and wrapped them up in these really pretty gift bags and didn't put a card on them. So she got to them thinking they were going to be something all pretty and froofy, and really it was some really risque gag gifts It was the highlight of the shower. Everyone went crazy and laughed for like a half hour. THen, she got me back at my shower, and since then, everyone one of our good friends that has had a shower, we always throw some gag gifts in a pretty bag.

Another good game is to give everyone a clothespin and everyone isnt allowed to say the bride or groom's name or the word "wedding". If one guest catches another guest saying any of those three words they can take their clothespin. At the end of the shower, the guest with the most clothespins wins.

What's In the Bag Game
---------------------------
Before hand, have the host of the bridal shower make up a list of items that any women would have in her purse. Such as lip stick, cell phone, pens, pictures of family, etc.

Assign each item a point value. The person with the most points wins the game.


Advice for the Bride
------------------------
Cut construction paper into small heart shapes and attach pipe cleaner. Hand all of the guests one with a pen and ask them to write "advice for the bride" example, "never go to bed together mad".

Place completed hearts in a vase and ask the bride to read them out loud. This is a great keepsake for the bride.

Ultimate Memory Game!!

Tell your guests you're now having a memory game. Have the bride or mother of the bride come out with a tray or platter of kitchen untensils and other related items. Have her walk fairly slow around the room to show all the guests what is one the tray, then walk out & stay in another room.

Then ask the party guests to grab a notepad and start to write down. "what the bride or mother of the bride was wearing!" (instead of what was on the tray)

This one will bring a few moans, but it's fun & the ultimate test of memory! It works best as the first game. The one with the most correct answers (types of clothing, colors, etc..), is the winner.

At a friend's shower, we played a game called who knows the bride the best! There were 20 multiple choice questions about the bride and the winner got a prize.
