If you have the magic bullet (the blender not the sex toy!)
for all you gutter minds
If you have the magic bullet, how long have you had it? Does it work as well as when you first got it?
DH somehow managed to strip the bottom part of the blender blade attachment. And the thing leaks into the base every time I use it, no matter which bottom part I use. It's about 2 years old (and this is my second one!)
Is it time for a third or should I move on to another product? I love the size since I make fruit smoothies in the morning and just grab and go.

We've had ours for about a year and for the most part it works the same, we just have to spray a little WD-20 on the motor because it sticks a bit.

Are you talking about the rubber gasket in the blending unit? you can replace that.
I have the Cuisinart Compact Blender. I have only been using it for a month so I don't know about longevity but so far so good. It comes with travel cups, a larger blender and a mini-chop unit. The blending unit fits on the travel cups so it's only one step and less mess. It blends ice easily.
I have also heard good reviews of the Oster Personal Blender.
