If you have white kitchen cabinets...

what color are your walls?

what color is your tile?

Doing my kitchen over this winter and I'm looking for ideas.

This is what I'm aiming for but I need a little color on the walls too.

Right now we have white cabinets with a green countertop, salmon color floors and white wall paper with a salmon and sea green pattern (it's really not as bad as it sounds but it is so not us either!). Clearly we moved into the house and have not redone the kitchen yet!

However, in my apartment i did white cabinets with a very light beige floor, a beige silestone countertop with multicolored flecks and a multicolored glass tile. It looked great but that's probably not the look you are going for....

Personally, I think i would do a dark blue or slate colored countertop and light blue walls if i were doing white cabinets now. I think I would put a hardwood floor in.

My parents have white cabinets. I don't have a pic, sorry.

They have light green walls. Their countertop is black and green. (Sounds ugly, but looks really nice!)

We just redid our kitchen and the cabinets our white. The color of my walls are either bryant or dorset gold by BM. (I will confirm the color when I get home). Our floor titles are a beige/gold marble color. Our backsplash is white subway tiles w/a design over the stove and our countertop is butch block.

We love it and I hope to have some pics shortly.

We used a very pale yellow. It might have been called Summer morning.

This is more or less what my kitchen is going to look like. They are installing it this week and the paint is going to be like a vintage-y green w/ subway tile backsplash & black granite countertops.

The floor is going to be darker wood - brazilian cherry.

We have light sage green on top of the chair rail molding and tan on the bottom.

For some reason, I don't have any of my actual kitchen pics on this computer. Here is a pic of one the kitchens from another apt in my building though (we all have the same materials).

Our wall color is BM China White, which I didn't change. The counters, backsplash and floor are all a gray, white and black granite. Since our living room is red, we brought that color into the kitchen through dish towels, small semi-circular rugs in front of the sink, oven, and fridge, and in the art work.

This is the art work we added to bring in some red. These fruit prints are hung vertically along one wall, next to the window:







Then we put the wine canvas print (which is about 2' x 3') on a wall by itself (it's the one on the right):

Mine is off white with beige walls and a darker brown wall. I originally wanted sage green, but really struggled with finding the right colour.

WE had red walls ( Ralph Lauren Balmoral Red) and white tile floors with grey grout

Beige. It's actually wallpaper (because the state of the walls are shyte) but it's the same color as BM Manchester Tan.

ETA: Countertop and backsplash is formica in Canyon and the floor is linoleum in white and beige. It was a quick fix that we hope will last us 5 years until we can afford a bigger job.

I have off white cabinets, blue pearl countetop (which is a dark grey granite), light grey porcelein floor tiles w/ flecks of darker grey/blue and matching mosaic backsplah.

The walls are BM butte rock. I think a beige/tan looks nice with white cabinets.
