“Jersey Shore” stars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley may be moving to East Setauket.
The reality TV stars are expected to see a house on Norris Lane that is on the market for $1.595 million, said the home’s listing agent, Linda Hickey of Stony Brook-based Hickey & Smith Realtors. The five-bedroom, three-bath “postmodern Colonial” comes with a 20-by-44-foot salt water pool, an outdoor bar and sound system, and a heated and air-conditioned pool house. Inside there is a 750-gallon fish tank.
She said Polizzi and Farley want to bring a camera crew for a showing this week but, “the owner said no.”
Public records show that the house belongs to a person of note—Will Castro, who customizes cars for celebrities, including two “famous football players” who are also interested in the house. She could not say who they are.
Castro could not be reached for comment. Scott Talarico, Polizzi’s manager, said he had no information about the matter. A representative for Farley, who owns a house in Franklin Square, could not be reached.
Residents of Norris Lane and nearby Old Town Road, who were reached Monday, said they had never heard of or seen “Jersey Shore,” MTV’s highest-rated show ever. Some fans of the show — which is about the dating, clubbing and drinking lifestyle of eight people, most of them in their 20s—have speculated that Polizzi and Farley have been looking for a house to buy together so that they can film a spinoff. “If they want to tape a show, I don’t really care, as long as they don’t play loud music,” said Veronica Ines, a homemaker who lives next door to the Castros.

OMG!!!! This is my DH's cousins house!!! (well they were the original owners before Will Castro bought it). She is going to die of embarrassment. You couldn't find more lovely neighbors. We spent so much time there for block parties, NYE - it was bad enough when they sold it to Castro and he started filming his show there.
Oh this is going to make Christmas conversation verrrrry interesting!!!

Why East Setauket?? I would think they would look more in Nassau to be close to the city. It is pretty boring around here. I have watched the show from the beginning since it is pretty funny, but I don't like any of them as human beings. I think they are all pretty disgusting! My DH wont even let me put the show on if he is in the house. I'm sure the neighbor's must be thrilled!!
Maybe I will see them at the Setauket Starbucks where I have seen Dee Snider.

I used to work there...it's so lovely but so quiet. Wonder why they'd want to live there? Hanging out in Stony Brook village...being bad azzes by the duck pond? LOL
