If you lose electricity but don't open up the refrigerator.......

........ and then the power comes back after 6 hours........ do you think the food stayed good?

Of course I'll give it the taste test- but I have yogurt in there and I feel like yogurt always has a sour taste to it so it's hard to tell Chat Icon

I would say yes...but def try it! It can't be any worse than an ice pack in a cooler for that long when out all day..and I have given bottles, etc like that...unless it was warn when you opened it!

I would think you are fine for most things. Milk and such I would check first!

Yes. Ours was out for over 12 hours the other day and the only thing we had to toss was the milk

Yes- if you don't open up the door it' supposed to stay good for 24 hours.
