If you run in the a.m., how are the roads in terms of visibility?
I know, stupid question. But at 5 in the morning, I don't want to trip and break an ankle.

thats def something to look out for - same thing if you run at night. you just have to watch where you are going, focus on the shoulder line and hope there are no potholes!
unless you want to carry a flashlight with you??

I try to run on higher traffic bearing roads with more light. I also know the areas so well now that I know at which points the sidewalks are chopped up and I need to get into the road.
If you run in the road definitely please where a reflecting vest or flashing light bud. Keep ID with you and either listen to no music or very low so you can hear what's around you. I may sound paranoid but safety is most important.
