My DD has an awful diaper rash that wasn't going away. Ped said it looked like it might be from yeast so he prescribed Vusion Chat Icon . We've been using it a few days, but her skin is still really bad. It started looking a tiny bit better, but every time she poops it gets really bad again.

Another question...what do you use to wipe? I use sensitive wipes, but she's in so much pain every time I wipe her. Chat Icon

We used it once, I think it was a couple of days. I also think the ped told me if it didn't look like it was clearing up after 4 or 5 days to call and bring DS back in.

I only wiped for poops. No wipes at all for pee until it cleared up.

Vusion cream worked great on our DD.. no wiping with pee only poos and when you have poo put Avenno cream before you wipe her.. it was the only recipe that worked. We also gave her two fifteen minutes a day without a diaper. With all this it took about 4 days for it to start looking better.

Thanks! I'll give it a little more time and hope it gets better.

I never use wipes for pee. How exactly do you use Aveeno cream? Put it on the wipe?

I've been trying to let her "air out" when I can. Of course this morning the second I put her down she peed all over the floor!
