I think a 7.
My sister is a size 7 and wears a 5 in boys shoes, I am a 5 and wear size 3 in kids.

I usually wear the next size down. I'm a 12 in womens, but wear an 11 in mens.

I've read that the rule of thumb is that you go down 2 sizes.

I'm a nine and when I used to wear mens sneakers (H.S. phase  ) I would buy a size 7

I agree, it is 2 sizes down. Had to do this when I played soccer in high school and I always bought boys cleats.

I wear a 7 1/2 in women's and take a 6 in mens. I think it's 2 sizes down as a general rule

This is what I was going to say - whenever there's something that's unisex, the women's size is always 2 sizes larger than the men's so you go down 2 sizes.
I'm an 8 and always buy size 6 in boys
