I started losing it on a friday morning I was 40w5d and I was 1.5 cm dilated at my appt that wk...Sat. night I was 3-4 cm and had the baby sunday...I didn't have the "bloody show" until I was like 10cm and pushing-and I only know that b/c the nurse told me.
ETA: my water was broken by the dr. when I was 4cm.

I noticed waht I assume was it floating in the toilet after my water broke and I went to the bathroom thinking WHAT the hell was that ?? ...........

I lost my plug 4 days before I went into labor. You may have lost it without realizing it.

Yes, I lost it with Ryan and delivered him within 90 minutes or so

I lost it a few days before going into labor. My water 'broke' during the exam at my 40w appt (my actual dd).

I was induced on my due date. but apparently i lost my plug over the course of a week and didnt realize thats what was going on.
when i went for my 40wk visit the nite before, the plug was already gone..LOL

I lost mine about a second before my water broke. Within minutes my contractions started and were 5 minutes apart.

Not as far as I know.
I went in on a Friday for my 38-39 wk appt. Drs planned to have me come in Tuesday to try version for my breech baby but did not seem to think I was on the brink.
That night I woke up to some cramping and my water broke around 3:30AM. I never saw anything that looked like a mucus plug.
