If you were pregnant and went to Disney...
How many months were you and were you uncomfortable?

I went to Disney, Islands of Adventure and Universal when I was 4 months preggo. I couldn't go as many rides (for alot of the virtual reality rides, we got in right away becase of my "disability" and I had to sit in the handicap section), but it was still a great time.

You can go on rides, just mild ones, like Peter Pan's flight, Winnie the Pooh, etc. I would never ever go on a ride like Rockin Roller Coaster while pregnant. It jerks you around A LOT.

My OB said at that early stage, it's fine. That was the last one I went on like that though.

With all due respect, I think I would find a new OB. The amount of jarring that ocurrs on many thrill rides (like the Rockin Roller Coaster) is enough to have a miscarriage. I would rather be safe than sorry. There is plenty of time to ride thrill rides after the baby is born

Re: If you were pregnant and went to Disney...
I went during my 26th - 28th week. I was not uncomfortable at all - and also chasing around a 1 year old. However, we go at the end of november into december evrey year, so it's also not so hot. I was able to go on every ride my daughter was able to go on. It was GREAT, b/c although Imissed out on the faster rides, someone would have had to stay behind with her anyway.
I would have to say it was probably our best trip out of 8 so far!

Re: If you were pregnant and went to Disney...
I went at 5-6 weeks pregnant or so in Fall 02 rode everything Tower of Terror, Mummy... I have a fearless devil to prove it. I took pregnancy tests but they came back negative so I didn't know until we got back.
We just went again in late July I was 23 weeks pregnant, with a 2 year and a husband who just got home from deployment we had an awesome time! I think we went at the perfect comfortable time in the pregnancy to go. I rode Dumbo, Aladdian's Magic Carpet, It's a Small World, tea cups and the slot race cars in tomorrowland and a few other fun rides with my son. I was given permission to ride the log flume by my OB since it was good G's rather then bad but my son was 2 inches to short so we skipped it.

Re: If you were pregnant and went to Disney...
I was 3 1/2 months pregnant and was MISERABLE!! Too hot, too much walking, and couldn't go on any rides. The trip was planned with another couple before I became pregnant and I felt bad to cancel. But I was in bed every night at 9:30 cause I was dead tired.
