If you were small framed and average weight before BFP...

How many weeks are u and how many pounds have u gained? I feel like the pounds are just packing on...

I am 14 weeks and I have only gained one pound, but my belly is really big!! My doctor said my belly is showing more because I was so small framed. I don't understand how I could only have gained one pound when my boobs grew a full cup size and my belly is so big. A friend of mine was underweight before she got PG and has gained 6 lbs already and she is only 12 weeks. It depends on your size...I am sure you look BEAUTIFUL!

I started out at 122 at 5'8 and am up 31 pounds at 34 weeks. I didn't really start to pack it on until about 25 weeks or so...

I'm average weight for my height (5'4") and I last weighed myself at 9 weeks and I hadnt gained a pound. On Tuesday I'll be 10 weeks and I'll weigh again - my boobs are bigger but my stomach isnt showing at all yet. . . though I feel very bloated.

I guess at 14 weeks 5 days, I technically gained 5 pounds - I lost 13 pounds from m/s, but ever since taking zofran, I put 5 back on... so even though I am 8 pounds under pre-PG weight, I guess I probably would have gained these 5 pounds from being PG....

I'm 22 weeks now. I lost almost 10 pounds during the first trimester, gained that back plus another 3 pounds or so. I totally understand what you are saying. I popped within the last few weeks and suddenly have this ravenous appetite where nothing seems to curb my hunger. I am very concerned about putting on too much weight since I am only 5'1" and I was average weight to begin with. I'm also not allowed to exercise because I'm at-risk for an incompetent cervix. But apparently, the weight gain is totally normal during the second trimester. So I wouldn't be too concerned, it's just that your baby is now growing at a rapid rate. For many people the weight gain slows down during the third trimester too.

I don't know what you consider to be small framed and average weight, but I am 5'5" and was average weight. I am 28 weeks and I have gained 18 lbs so far. Most of it came withing the last two months.

I started out 5'6 and 130 pounds. I'm now 38w2d and I've gained 40 pounds- almost all of it in the second trimester.

i gained about 28 in total over the 40+ weeks of my pregnancy and have about 10 to lose now.....luckily i fit into my post preggo clothes right away though!

It depends on what you eat, how you feel [MS] and silly as this sounds, some genetics play a role. Ask around, as hard as it may be, and see who's body you resemble on the INSIDE. Turns out I have my grandmother's reproductive system...started menstruating LATE and it was never steady. She had all her kids "early" [before due date] and the longest labor was 8 hours...and it wasn't even the first child. One wasborn in 2 hours. My daughter [my first] was born 6 days early and after 4 hours 7 minutes of labor! So you see, it's relaly important for us to talk in our families about the details of our cycles and pregnancies...so you know what you can be in for...I didn't realize all this about my grandmother until AFTER mydaughter was born, so I was unprepared...my mom didn't know either, so I assumed I'd be like my mom and have babies 2 weeks late. I was in complete shock to give birth early and so fast!


ETA-I'm already "swollen" and not really feeling cozy in my jeans and I haven't officially gained any weight either. I'm not that far along...so it's possible to get larger and not gain. I am still at 109 pounds at 5'5".

i'm only 5' and i was under a 100 pounds - i'm up 22 at 27 weeks

I was 5'6 and 114 pounds pre-preg now at 28 weeks I am up 24 lbs!
