If you were to have another baby...
after the twins, how long would you wait? Or what do you think is a good span of time?
DH and I are kicking this idea around.

We decided that we're done after the twins, but if we were not, I would say I'd wait no more than 2 years to try again - only because I'm 36 already. We are pretty positive that this will be it for us, even though I get asked a million times if I'm going to "try for a girl". We have always wanted 2 children and we were blessed with the twins.
It's a personal decision - if I was younger, I would probably wait longer than 2 years, just so it's not as overwhelming. I think there are two ways of looking at it; if you wait until your twins are 4-5, at least they will be off to school and daycare costs will be less, plus they will be more self-sufficient. On the other hand, it could be nice to have them closer in age, plus you are done with all the daipers sooner!

We've been thinking that it would be good to space the twins and another baby about 3-3 1/2 years apart.

Same for us. DH wants to wait at least 4 years so that we don't have three in college at the same time  I just know I am not ready to go back to that newborn stage right now since my boys are starting to be able to take care of themselves more. I want to take at least one more solo trip together with DH somewhere. I had my boys when i was 29 so I have some time to wait.
But this might be it for me.

We're too scared of another set that we are 99.9% sure we are done. I also love this stage and it seems to just keep getting better. We don't need the entire house packed up when we leave, they are potty trained and my SIL just had another baby and nothing about that stage seems fun or anything that we would not consider torture, LOL. So I think we are done!

Same with Michelle......although my twins were from IVF, I would be scared of another set, because my dad is a twin so it runs in the family.....so I think we are pretty much done, plus with my issues with Christopher....I am really scared to have another

on waiting until they are at least 3 before we consider.

I am looking to have more and I think I would like to try again when the boys are almost 2. I would like for the 3rd to have a close relationship with the twins rather then it being on its own and the twins having each other. I hope I am making sense.
