If your child already has the Land's End SQUALL coat - question
Do you find it to be super loose at the hemline?
DS wears size 24 months right now. I ordered him the Squall in 2T and 3T. Well for both of them, the opening around the bottom is huge! DS isn't skinny so I'm surprised at how open it is.
I keep thinking the cold air and wind will just blow right up and make him cold, no?
It has the elastic around the hem, but I can't figure out how to tighten it! How can you tighten it????? Does your child's squall jacket fit the same?

The pull thingy to tighten the hem is in the pockets.

No problem! I only knew because DS showed them to me! I never would have looked there myself but DS felt them when he put his hands in the pockets....

What's so funny is that I looking on the inside of the coat and I felt the knobs and I'm like, I SWEAR this feels like the things that you press and then pull the string to tighten, but HOW do you do it??? lol! I didn't even think to check the inside of the pockets.
Do you tighten it for your DS? Or just leave it loose? If you leave it loose, do you think it keeps him warm anyway?

So far I have left it open and he has not complained of being cold. He has only had it for a week though.
I tightened it today now that is is really getting cold out
