If your DC received a cross necklace as a baptism gift...
Does he/she ever wear it? If not, what did you do with it - and when will he/she wear it?
DS received a beautiful cross necklace from Tiffanys from his godfather that was $$$$$. I feel terrible that he has never worn it and it is still sitting in the box  But, I feel like it is not safe for him at this age

DS's godfather bought him a beautiful cross. He wore if for the christening and never again...he'll wear it for his other sacraments and probably sometime after his communion or confirmation wear it everyday just like DH.

She wore it part of that day and when we changed her at her party we took it off. She hasn't worn it since, but I figure it's something she can have as she gets older. We're just keeping it safe until then.

DD received a diamond cross. I have not let her wear it yet and plan to wait. Just too small, ITA. I keep in her jewelry box (yes, she has one already just like her mama).

dd didnt receive one as a gift, but she has been wearing one for a long time. she is 14 months now. the chain is pretty short.

My parents bought DS a gorgeous cross & it is in the box in our safe. Has not worn it again! Maybe when he is bigger but will definately wear it for his other sacraments.

Both children received gorgeous crosses and chain. DS is white gold and DD is diamonds. YES, they do wear them during the holidays and when we attend parties (e-party, christening,showers, etc). DS kept kissing his cross during Easter..soo cute! The cross/chain they both received are not children jewelery, they are full size crosses and chain and still look okay when worn.

Andrew only wore his for his Christening but will be wearing to our nephews Communion and Alexa's Christening. I honestly forget to put it on him for the other holidays.
I wore mine a lot from my Christening before I recvd my Mother's Necklace.

both my kids received crosses they do not wear. I'm not big on jewelry when they're young except for special occasions. I keep them in there boxes in an armoir.

DS got a beautiful cross from his godfather. He wore it on his christening and hasn't since. It is a larger cross, and a little too big for him to wear now. It is actually a smaller version of the one my DH has so I think when he is older he will be able to wear it more often.

No, because my MIL bought them, and they are HUGE!!!!!I dont know what she was thinking.They look like they should be worn by a guido, who drives an IROC-Z

When my kids are old enough to wear jewlery without trying to rip them off their necks...then they'll wear it.

Same here - she wore it for her Christening and it's now in the jewelry box until she is older.

Exactly the same thing for us. Joey will wear his cross again at his first communion.

Ds recieved one for his Baptism from my parents & 4 my siblings (all his aunts & uncles). He wore it for that day, but it's not safe for now as he would eat it!!! He'll wear when he is old enough!

DD only has worn it the day of her baptism so far. Once shes shown me shes responsible enough to wear jewelry and it not break and get lost, then she will wear it. My DD so far has only worn her earings that she was pierced in.

Well when her Godfather bought it , he knew she wouldn't be wearing it until she was a teenager or old enought to be responsible with it. We didn't buy a baby one, it was a little bigger. She only wore it the day of the baptism.

DS's Godparents bought him a cross pin instead of a necklace. I plan on holding on to it for him until he is much older and understands responsibility and taking care of his things.

yes we picke3d out a simple one, my ds wears it to chucrch on sundays and on christmas and easter...
