If your DH is FDNY/NYPD or has a flexible schedule....

What are you doing about childcare?

DH is FDNY. He will work 24 hrs. 1-2 a week so we will need either 2 or 3 days a week and the days he works will vary week to week.

I'm not sure how to handle looking for daycare... Is there anyone/anyplace THAT flexible???

I don't think family is an option for us. anyone in a similar situation or have any advice?

I think if you go to an "in-home" day care as opposed to a play like Tutor Time they "might" be more flexible.

My husband is NYPD and we have the girls in Tutor Time 3 days a week. he's home w/them one day and I'm home with them one day. Somehow it turned out that he was either off a Monday or a Friday so we were able to work with day care because they are in steady Tu, Wed, Th

My husband is home A LOT. He stays with Michael on those days... there are months when he's home 3-4 days during the week each week! On days when we're both working, either my parents or my inlaws watch Michael.

My husband is NYPD. He works overnights and sleeps during the day , but sometimes he gets called in for court. I SAH- only work a few hours a week, so thats what we do . When I work, he watches Madeline . We have no family close by.

At home daycare would probably be your best option. Maybe ask other FF what they have done. I'm in Floral PArk- if I hear of anything, I'll keep you in mind.That schedule is crazy
