If you're looking for a tree removal company
I can highly recommend Poor Man's Tree Removal, based in Merrick. 516. 379.1200 or 1800.69-TREES
Honestly, it was the name that made me call them
We have a 40x100 lot and had 16 trees removed (just think wild kingdom - and that's what our backyard looked like - except all of the trees were diseased).
They removed all trees in an hour and ground down the stumps. They left the mulch for us to use as fertilizer. Cost - $1800. MUCH cheaper than everyone else we called.
Our backyard looks like pretty apocalyptic right now with all the dead trees gone -but once we grow some grass and clean out the leaves and ivy from the previous owners, it should look great.

I'm glad you were happy nad got a great price. We removed a jungle from our yard too about two months ago and their price was almost 1400 higher than the company we went with.
