If you're looking for something to do to waste some time(link fixed)
You may want to sign up for either Swagbucks or Superpoints.
You use their sites as a search engine, or for completing tasks that they give, and you end up getting gift cards after earning points. I used to think it was a scam, but I've ended up earning $25 to amazon in the past 3 weeks, which is awesome-I really just futz around on them over the weekends or at work when it's slow, but it's now letting me save up for a new lamp that I want

swagbucks is how i paid for ALL my school books, last year!!!!
this year, i'm using it for christmas shopping. i already have $45 saved for christmas 2012!!

these are the easiest/quickest ways i earn points:
by visiting the site each day you get 1 point
by taking the daily poll you get 1 point
i use their search engine throughout the day, and will end up earning anywhere between 14-50 points a day this way
if you're bored, you can try their tasks (sunday i ended up getting 300 points in one day from tasks alone)
then if you really want to rack up points, you can
use the swagbucks tv (10 videos earns 3 points..i just leave it up in the background)
check in the afternoons on their fb page to see if there's a code-you usually get anywhere from 5-10 points for free
do some of the special offers..liking something on fb can earn you 4-16 points, providing an e-mail address (i have one i use just for spam stuff) can earn 10-50 points..
overtime it all adds up 
today i've earned 69 points so far, and it's only 11:30 (and i'm at work, but mornings are slow for me)

btw..do you just do the amazon cards?
instead of saving up for the $25 one, i think after i get my 5 $5 ones i'm going to switch to starbucks for my bf..theoretically i could get 5 amazon and 5 starbucks in one month right?

450 for a 5 dollar amazon card, or 600 for 5 to Starbucks or Barnes and noble..they have other stores but those are the ones I use the most..

when i first started, i would do paypal. then i realized it was talking almost twice as long to get the same $5. i go with the $5 amazon gift card because it's the cheapest. you can "buy" any two items on one day, with a maximum of the same prize five times within a given month. so you can do 5 $5 amazon gift cards and then another value of amazon gift cards.

ps. it's not a bad idea to just keep some swagbucks floating around without cashing them in... you never know when they'll have a crazy sale and a prize will suddenly cost you very few swagbucks
