Ignorant people !!!!!!
I CANTTTTTT stand ignorant people.
I took it upon myself to help someone I ADORE job hunt. (nursery/childcare)
Well one place emailed me, to call them asap. This candidate is OUTSTANDING, caring and just exceptional.
Well the "Director"  of this place, asks me, "OK, What's her name"
and I say the person's first name.
and it's not Mary or Jennfer, it's a beautiful Hispanic name..
Well she pauses on the phone and goes "uhmmm, ok.. WHAT is her name??" and I repeat it..
and she goes "Does she speak English?"
and I said "yes!"
I was just so turned off by this place altogether.
and they are paying VERY low, so my friend said no way as soon as I called her.   
I just CANT imagine that someone would be so outright rude like that !
Is she kidding me ??
and what does speaking perfect English have to do with caring for children??
 
meanwhile fingers crossed I may have helped her with a very good paying part time thing

oh I know that one all to well.
In NY and NC, once I changed DH's resume to a nickname rather then his full first name, calls started coming in.

But if im determined to get something for someone, I will try my damndest
She told me she was looking last Friday, and I emailed a few places over the weekend, she had an interview this morning, they LOVED her, but it's VERY part time.. so even if she gets that, she needs something more.
