Ignoring the bottom portion of the walls, how does this look?

So, we haven't done the bottom portion of our walls yet, so ignore that, but does this look ok here? Does it matter that it's such a different color? I have no clue about decorating, hence all my questions!

I don't love it but maybe it's just because the room isn't all finished. I guess the color difference does kind of bother me a bit. I think if it was lighter like the chair seats maybe that would be better.

I'd paint that puppy white. Then again - I'm on a white paint kick. Your kitchen cabinets are all beautigul and white - you have a really nice green color.. I'd paint it white. It has a cottage-y feel to it with the shutters and that's where I'm going with this long-asss post. Chat Icon

Ok, see that's why I posted this. I wanted someone to tell me that. That was my thought, but I wanted to see if I was rightChat Icon

I'd actually paint it black. Would be a good good contrast on the wall and match the table.

I am not loving the doors on the mirror. I am not a good decorator so dont take it to heart! I would definitely paint them white like the posters said.

I'm totally with Jenn on this one. White would make it look great! Can't wait to see the kitchen finished.

So what are you doing with the bottom of the wall again? Sorry I don't remember what you decided. Chat Icon

We're ripping off the paneling and replacing it with white bead board, then putting a really nice molding as a chair rail.Chat Icon
