IKEA photo frames are in European sizes, where can I get my photos printed in these sizes?
What the he!l IKEA??? We bought $400 worth of frames at IKEA to decorate our new home.
We just realized they are in centimeters.. 30x30cm, for example, and American prints dont fit them... Any idea where I can upload my pictures to get them printed in European sizes?
Would be easier than returning all these frames if I could do it.
ETA: The size of the frame isn't the big deal, its the hole in the mats. In most instances, the holes are a little bigger than American pictures.. by 1/8, 1/4, 1/2". So the prints have to be the European size to be able to fit them
FOr example,
21x27 cm = 8 1/4" x 10 3/5".....

30cm = 12 inches...(google)
You can print custom size prints at Kinkos...

do you have any program that can manipulate images (like photoshop)? You can change the size easily in these programs.
I bet a lot of those photoframes are really close to american dimensions..... In a worst case scenario, you could likely get away with printing the pictures in the closest american size.

its probally easier to buy mats that are bigger then the frame and cut them down, but the hole that displays your picture is the size you need.

Just do the math...
The pics are still 5X7 etc, they are just metric rather than in inches.

They give the dimensions in inches (as well as metroc).. but the hole of the mat is like 5.25 inches by 7.5 inches (making that up off the top of my head)
so all of the holes in the mats are a little too big which would look silly with american-sized pictures.
I thought of going to snapfish.uk but my browser automatically brings me to the American website.

We noticed that with IKEA frames too. We ended up returning them. I didn't want to waste too much time getting the photo to fit.
You could print an enlarged photo and crop it down using a paper cutter.

Yeah Looks like I'll probably wind up returning them. What a pain!
