I'm a little sad this year
I was just thinking about my family, and the fact that we are so far away from one another.... 
It's hard being 3000 miles away....

 Im sorry, I know it s*cks.....my family is a plane ride away-----we invested in webcams as christmas gifts this year so we can "see" more of eachother

I know what you mean! My mom, grandmother, and brother all live in Florida, and my mom NEVER comes to visit. She didn't even come yet to see my new house  I also planned my whole wedding without a mother. It ***** and I know how you feel. DH and I say out baby will never know it's grandmother and uncle in Fl since they never come up here. Sorry

With the exception of my immediate family, the rest of my family is all spread out across the U.S. We say each year that we will all try to get together, but it never happens...
Thank goodness for email, digital pictures and webcams! I think these all help bring families together from across the world!

It is hard, and 3,000 miles is far. This is the first year I've spent Christmas day with my parents in quite awhile. Usually we visit them in early Dec. or early Jan., but travel just gets too crazy during this week.

Wow that is very hard. My brother still lives on LI and I am in DC and while it's only a 5 hour drive, I feel so sad he isn't near me to experience all this.
On the same note, my mom has been living with me now for the last 4 months and I can't seem to get away from her at all for some alone time!
Either way, too close or too far, it stinks. I'm sorry!!!!
