Im a proud momma
Emma can read She LOVES to sound out words and tell me what they say. My 4 year old is a big girl now!! Makes me sad but so happy at the same time.

My nephew is 3 1/2 and cant even spit out sentences nor clear words
My son is 21 months and he only says a few words. There is such a difference between boys and girls!

When I first saw the suject line....I was like hey did I miss something ...She had the baby already.....Can you tell I'm in a fog lately? Anyway, hooray for Emma....that is a very big accomplishment

I dont necessarily think its boys vs girls. Both my boys are very different. My first was a VERY early talker. Before he turned 2, he counted to ten in 3 languages, and spoke like a 5yr old. VERY strong on pronouncing things correctly. by 2 1/2 - planets, galaxies. Now at 4, reading, math, I dont have many to compare him to but when people hear him speak, they think he's 6. My younger one (now 2 1/2) speaks I guess like an average 2yr old, spoke much later than big brother.
and then you cant say its first or second born either, because my sister's 2girls, her 2nd was writing her entire family's first and last names (and they have long names  ) way before she was 4.
but they both did great reading early.
