I'm a scaredy cat-Update
I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning...with a new dentist...and I am PETRIFIED of the dentist....
I have had so so much work done in my mouth due to a bad car accident in 1993...all my top front teeth are caps..and one is very very loose...like I have a hard time talking because it keeps moving....
I am just hoping this new dentist is nice & understanding with all the trauma I have dealt with, and most of all, hope they can fix this cap & not make me broke!!
I HATE the dentist!!!!!!!!
Update---I need a new post & crown. My jerk of a dentist who I had whe I lived in NY did not do the post correctly so it decayed inside the tooth, causing the cap to decay & get loose.
And, one of my canines has a temp on it now, and he said that build up thing is starting to decay, and needs to crown that too.
So, it will cost $575 TODAY w/ my insurance---leaving me pretty much BROKE until I get paid again on the 15th! (I just got paid today!)
I am goign to try to see if I can finance it somehow.
the dentist is cute though! LOL

good luck.. i know how you feel. i hate going. and it doesnt help when mine is a stalker who calls me all the time..lol. one of my caps is loose. so worried its going to fall out

trust me -- i know your pain
just be honest with the dentist and tell them you are EXTREMELY fearful. i did the same thing and it helped alot and so did the huge amount of gas he gave me.

I was the biggest scaredy cat when it came to the dentist. I had so much work done in my mouth, a root canal to me is nothing!!
You will be fine. If you just need a cap replaced, its not a big deal.
