I'm afraid to get the flu shot....
I'm supposed to get it today, but I've never gotten it before... DD's dr recommended we all get it... I'm not scared of the needle, I'm scared I'm gonna get a bad reaction... someone tell me I'm worried about nothing! PLEASE! LOL

no worries, actually, you do not even feel the needle. You may be a bit sore at the injection site for a few days but I have NEVER had a reaction to the shot
It is the best thing you can do, you do NOT want the flu, especially with a baby

Don't be afraid - its doesn't hurt at all. We all got it at my house and none of us had any reaction to it.

It goes really fast and you barely feel a thing.
I did have a mild reaction to my flu shot this year (did not last year). I had a slight fever and since I am prone to cold sores I got one over night. But I had a feeling and didn't react. I should have put abreva on when I first felt it...so my fault.
If you are not prone to cold sores then don't worry - no one else I know got it!

All four of us got one this year. No reactions. Last year, 3 of us got shots, no reactions. Year before, same thing.
You really don't want to risk getting the flu and not be able to care for DD for a few days.

You will be fine. I got mine last week. Like others posted, you may be a little sore after, but, it does go away.
