I'm being abandoned :(
Well, not really, but my good friend at school is leaving :( I'm so bummed - it's a small school and a lot of the teachers are really cliquey (sp?) and her the other two non-clique teachers (who i'm not really close to) are all leaving.
I feel like I'm being abandoned 
ETA: i totally agree w/ why they're leaving, and I don't blame them at all, I just feel like having a pity party for myself.

im sorry i work with my closest friend and we always say we HAVE to leave together bc we couldnt last there without each other....but in reality we know if the time came and we couldnt get a job together (which would prob be impossible) than we would have to leave

Mostly because of the administration. I'm only staying because this is my second school in 2 years and I want some continuity...
My school has a ton of turnover... Next year I'll be in a tie for the third most experienced teacher in the school... and I'll only be a 3rd year teacher (unless they hire other teachers w/ more experience).

I know your pain. One of my closest friends is out on a leave of absense for medical reasons,a nd now I feel the ones I were friends with dont ask me out anymore because I have kids.
Now that she is gone and will probably be gone for good,a nd really starting to NOT like some of the people in my department, like they are too good

yeesh! My building had that happen 2 years ago because literally had a psycho principal but we turned around and got her fired instead of everyone leaving
