I'm desperate for help with transition from co-sleeping to crib!

I know there are BTDT moms out there that can help me!

DD is 9 months old and almost EBF. She gets a rare bottle of which she'll take 4-5 oz AT THE MOST.

I NEED my bed back...I'm tired of getting kicked and constantly waking up to feed her.

I'm thinking she may sleep longer in her own crib (she now naps 2 hrs each nap). The criib is now in our room since I can't bring myself to put the baby in her big sister's room and wake HER up (because she wakes up on her ownChat Icon ).

Someone tell me I can do this and give me some method as to how I can get this done

My only advice is the longer you wait the harder it will be!

no advice mine is still in bed with us and we just cant seem to get her out ...

i guess if you are really serious to transition her to her crib start out small and gradually let her spend more and more time in there even if she wakes and ends up back in your bed slowly build up her time ...

but hey like i said mine is still in with us and with no signs of anything changing

i know the dr sear's website has some really good advice for this - though it might be for a child older than yours... check it out though. i found a lot of what he had to say very interesting.

Can you move your older daughter and your son into one room while you are working this out? I think the best bet would be to have her out of your room. Everyone will sleep so much better. I know when we go on vacation and Jack is in the crib in the room with us, it's pretty much a nightmare. Whatever time he wakes up, as soon as he sees us, he wants out.
