I'm drowning in pictures.. what do you do??

I have a trillion pics uplaoded onto shutterfly by month. I printed out the Jan and Feb ones and have them in a album. It was all her real newborn pics from the hospital and first coming home.

So you print out the pics every month? If so , what do you do with them.

If not, do you just keep them digitally? Do you make photobooks?

I hate that I am not keeping on top of this bc I am usually very organized. With her Christening coming up in a few weeks, I will have a TON more.

I just keep them digitally. We don't have the room for all the pictures. One of these days I will print some out to hang in the house.

I upload them and keep them on a USB and digitally on snapfish the 10th of every month (that's when they turn a month older, and it reminds me to do it all). I then order the whole month of pics to the house and put them in a picure box that looks like a shoebox. I keep a divider in between all the months in the box...hospital....1month...2months...ect.

I'm going crazy with this myself. I have files by month, plus separate files for any occasion where I took a lot (even if it is not a big event). I like to have prints but I don't have a set schedule for that. Usually when I print them, either I know I will be doing some scrapbooking, or I've found a sale on prints or I just got frustrated because I was so far behind on prints.

I make photo books and I use SmileBooks , vendor on here. I also made a 1st year digital scrapbook (and a few pages from ths year so far via How Fast They Grow

We picked our favorites per month and printed them out into photo albums. We also gave them to each grandparent so they could get photos of him. (SInce we don't live near them) I think we stopped this around 6 months. That reminds me I gotta get on this.

I print between 1000 -1200 pics a month at Costco ....I used to be very on top of my pics and have over 40 albums of my DS alone

Now I am so backed up its not even funny and seriously need to slow down !

I have gone so far as to recruit my friends 2 DD's and pay them to put my pictures in albums !!!!

I am really bad about it. I order like 200 pics 2x a year. In fact, I'm due to order them soon.

I can't even TELL you how many I take, I think I've taken 500 since the beginning of hte month

I'm with you on drowning in a million pictures. I'm good about uploading them to our computer and backing them up on an external hardrive but I am very behind on ordering prints (5 months behind). It's so hard to find the time.

Honestly, I just keep them on the computer and print out the ones I want to display. I put them on Shutterfly and do back them up though.
I made my DD a slideshow DVD for her first birthday and will do the same for DS and plus they have monthly pictures in their baby books.

I have sooo many. I cant even part with the not so good pics. I get them all printed and have them all still on the Camera disk, Im going to bring to CVS and put in CD. I also made my first dd a 1 year scrapbook, Im going to start a second one for her but mostly just milestones and holiday pics. Also starting my second dds scrapbook.

The printed pics I have that didnt make scrapbook, right now I have in a photo box from Michaels. Im going to put the good pics in album and just keep the not so good ones in the box.

I used to print ALL the pictures - that lasted 2 months. Now I just keep them all on my computer and I will be backing them up. I printed her BDay party pictures and that is it in like the last year I do plan to print more and get them in albums but that probably won't happen until she goes to college

I also don't print them, and just keep them digitally. Honestly, we have boxes of pre-digital photos in the house, and I have never looked at them. However, since I have ready access to the digital ones, I am often going into them and looking at them. Why waste money on prints when they are going to sit un-looked at? I'd rather take that time and money and spend it with DC. I can always print up pics here and there if I want/need.

I print them every few weeks and put them in albums-I flip through them a lot.
