I'm feeling very discouraged today- updated
I'm just having one of those days where I want to throw in the towel. I am not a control freak, but I am a planner. I left a full time job at a newspaper to take over my mom's dance school, because I knew it would give me the kind of part time hours that allow me more time with kids, school breaks and summers off. Before I was even pregnant with DS I had worked out who would watch DS. As of right now, my mom and my MIL each watch DS two afternoons a week. DS is now 2 and will start preschool next year. I searched high and low for a school that had afternoon classes and extended day and had it worked out that DS would be in class from 12:30-3 and then extended day from 3:00-5:30. I did it so that he was in school for one day that each mom usually has him. they would each have two kids one day and only a baby one day.
I just spoke with the preschool today and it doesn't look like the afternoon class will happen. Right now DS is the only one signed up. So my options are to have him in school two full days from 9:30-5:30, which I really don't want to do, or I put him in the morning class and then hire a babysitter two days a week to watch both kids, which is going to be expensive.
I just feel very defeated today. I feel like maybe we shouldn't have another baby. To be honest, DH isn't overly thrilled with having another anyway. He wants another for DS's sake and for my happiness, but he has no personal desire to have another child. I just want to cry today. 
ETS- I am feeling much better today. DH really helped me out last night saying how we would figure it out and we even came up with some possible game plans. Every single parent in his office (men and woman) work atleast one day from home. So he's going to tell them he needs to work half days on Thursdays and the rest of the day from home. Our moms will watch DC only one day each and switch off a second day. Hopefully that will all work out.
DH is not usually a "comforting" type of guy, but he really came through for me last night and I love him for it.

for me deciding on #2 was far more difficult than # 1. I go back on this almost daily if its the right decision and ds is 3.5! i shave similar child care issues.

Thanks. I know that's the truth and he knows it too. Like I said, it's not that he's against having another, he would just be perfectly happy if it was just me, him and DS. He fully admits that he will totally and fully love another baby. And now I feel like he's even more on board that he's willing to adjust his schedule to make things work. It's times like these that I really feel blessed to have him.
