I'm going to get caught!
So after hearing "they must be identical" a thousand times, and arguing with everyone saying no they're not, now I just lie - I say yes, they are, and move along.
But today, a woman said it, I said yes, and she was staring at them. We weren't on the go so she had time to stare. I was like  I'm so going to get caught! She's going to figure it out!  So then I took off so she couldn't figure it out and say something.
As much as I don't want to get caught out, I am so sick of arguing with strangers as to whether or not they are identical!  Oh well!!!

that is so funny....so many people ask if my boys are identical.....uhhh, look at them, they look NOTHING alike...I should just say yes too

Ugghhhh! I hate that question, because my answer is always, "I don't know!?" I feel like an idiot. I guess we won't know until/if we do the DNA test. 2placentas, 2 sacs, but they look a lot a like.
My new anwswer is that they are fraternal, but look identical. It covers both sides.

Hey, at least they don't ask you if they are "paternal"?
I swear I'll never get over that one.
I guess people assume if they are a same gender set they are identical  I guess I can understand their reasoning but boy/girl I'd have to say... "No when you change the diaper, they have different parts"... duh!
I did some research on the b/g identical and there have only been 6 sets so it's not even worth bringing up the topic to most people.

I was the same way. I started saying I don't know. I was so sick of the questions. One day a woman in Target was talking to me (she had twins also). I told her the whole seperate sacs they can't be identical. She told me that wasn't true. The sac can seperate very early on. So, I ordered the test from a lab. (she convinced me) Turns out the doctors were wrong & my daughters are identical. Who knew!
