Im having twins!!! ....now what?
so i just found out we are expecting twins!! panic mode has set in and i dont know where to begin! any tips or advice for during and after pregnancy would be appreciated!
i already have a daughter who will be 2 1/2 when they are born, so i have alot of stuff. but im not sure what i will need doubles of??
and someone had mentioned to me that you can get coupons for diapers, food and formula if you have twins...is this true and how do i go about that?

Congratulations! I know it is a lot to wrap your head around, but don't worry. You'll get through it! My DS was 2 years 9 months when my twins were born. It was quite an adjustment but we survived and you will too!

My son was a little over 2 1.2 when my twins were born. So i had a lot of stuff already.
The things you need two of beside the obvious (like a crib and carseat! LOL)
-2 boppys
-2 bouncy seats
my kids loved the travel swing so we had 2 of those. also the double snap n go.

Congrats!! I am due in August and DS will be almost 2 1/2. Alot of people have offered to give me stuff and or let me borrow stuff, so I've been lucky.
Here's my list:
dbl snap and go (borrowed)
twin nursing pillow (borrowed)
2nd bouncy seat (borrowed)
2nd bobby- given to me
2nd carseat- given to me
2- nap nanny's- borrowed
dbl stroller- buying from friend
2nd crib- bought on craigslist
changing table for downstairs- bought on LIF
2- baby carriers/wraps- given to me
Things to buy:
2nd mattress
mattress cover and sheets
humidifier
2- sound machines
2- miracle blankets
1- Ergo baby carrier (found for cheap online)
nursing supplies
new nipples for bottles
bottle inserts
set of washclothes/towels
pacifiers
2- baby books (I found 2 twin books online)
bottle brush and soap
Down the line:
2nd convertible carseat
used high chair

Congrats! My son was 26 months when the twins were born. There are a bunch of us with a toddler and twins. The girls already gave you good advice on what doubles are needed. I also recommend the joovy big caboose. It is a triple stroller... 2 seats plus the sit/stand bench. My kids are 4 and 2 yr old twins and we still use this stroller. Makes it very easy too be out and about with all three kids alone.
