I'm looking for kid friendly parks near Babylon village area?
Please post your suggestions. I don't mind traveling up to 10 miles. Thanks.

Argyle Lake has a park on the Montauk Hwy side. The parking lot entrance is next to the little florist.
Ventian Shores Beach has alot of play areas. It is in lindenhurst.
There is a small play park near the train tracks in Babylon on RailRoad ave. I think the corner street is Strong....
Babylon Town Hall has the big play area with the climb on stuff and padded floor right. Town hall on sunrise though, not village hall.....

I used to LOVE Argyle...I've walked around that lake so many times.
If we still lived in NY, I would take DD there all the time

There are so many in the area!! Argyle and Southard's Pond are in Babylon Village. Then there's Town Hall Park on Sunrise in Lindy. Ventian Shores in Lindenhurst by the water, and also Tanner Park in Copiague. Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa is also fun. You can go on the Town of Babylon website for the complete list and the amenities at each!!

^ My DD loves this park.
Gardiner Park in Bay Shore (on Montauk Hwy) has a smaller playground but she loves that one as well. There are trails to walk on (we call them nature walks)and a little pond that she loves to throw rocks and sticks in.

This is a good one too. We call it the miracle mile. We go there just to walk and talk.
