I'm moving Friday, and rain is in the forecast
... has anyone ever moved while it was raining? How did you transport (boxes, electrics, couches, mattresses, etc) without getting things wet?

Hey where are you moving to???!!
I moved once and it was pouring (my poor dad got all wet). We pretty much just covered things in crappy towels or sheets. Sorry I am not the best help - I was single and I didnt have as much nice stuff as I do now.

We're moving to Yellowstone Blvd.... 2br apt. 
Please do the rain-keep-away dance! I don't want any of my things to get ruined. 
Uhaul is giving us moving blankets... which I'll probably use for cover up, but that could get soak through to the furniture!
