I'm packing on the pounds!
Went for my checkup today and I've gained a total of 24lbs!!!  Some of the nice comments I've gotten in the last two weeks:
"Euuuw, I don't like you this way, I liked the old you!" (coming from someone who had a crush on me - my response - "well, my husband LOVES me like this, and that's all that matters")
"Are you sure that chair is wide enough for you?" (coming from the same person)
"Awwwwwwwww, you're getting so PLUMP!" (I was horrified, and made a face, so she said, "but, it's pleasantly plump"! Umm, honey, that doesn't make it any better)
"OMG, you're a HOUSE!" (from a good, good friend who hadn't seen me since I got preggo).

24 is nothing! I've gained 33 and I'm only 2 days shy of 31 weeks!!! But, I am retaining water like crazy and I cant even tell if I ever had ankles anymore or normal legs for that matter! My Dr. thinks I have at least 6lbs of water weight!! I look so ugly from the waist down!
PS. THose people are unbelievable!! Tell them where to go!

Speaking of insensitive....
Yesterday Jared was a week old and I went out to my doctor to get my staples removed and have his first pediatrician checkup.
Well, afterwards Dh and I went to a deli to get sandwiches to go and the guy behind the counter says..."you're pregnant again?" Obviously, noticing my leftover belly, that didn't go completely down yet. I said, "He's a week old and this is my leftover weight...but thanks for asking."
I was soo upset...I guess I really attract idiots!
So now I'm unpacking the pounds...
Sorry that people are so rude...they're just ignorant.

Maybe there is a perk to being fat to begin with. I think people are too afraid to even ask if I am pregnant.
That said I am amazed at what people can't manage to keep inside their heads. Does anyone not think before they speak?

I feel like a house too and I have not gained that much yet....
my feet look like Barney Rubbles (fat and wide) and I can not find shoes to fit me for the wedding I have on Saturday

That is the most asinine thing I have EVER heard!! What an idiot!!! Sorry Stefanie!!!

I had my brother's wedding this weekend and I can't even begin to tell you the comments I got...people are so rude!

I am 31 weeks and i am up almost 36 lbs. I feel like a blimp. I hate when people say stupid things like that. It is not like we all put on this weight because we are lazy and just eat a lot. Some people just don't understand.
