Im proud to announce....
that Anthony and I have decided on our wedding favors.
They will be donations to both the American Cancer Society and ASPCA.
We will give 1k to each.
I just feel that so many of our family members have been affected by cancer even everyone on here knows someone that is suffering through or passed away because of cancer. And we chose the ASPCA bc we are huge dog lovers and want to someday open up a no kill shelter upstate.
i will box a candy apple with a cardstock saying this....
With much thought and consideration,
we have chosen a meaningful way to say
thank you for sharing in our wedding day.
We have made a special donation
in your honor to the
American Cancer Society
and
ASPCA.
We feel the finest gift is one that helps others ,human or furry ,live longer and healthier lives.

that is excellent! we donated money to mercy medical center in memory of my grandparents and LIJ/Plainview in memory of my dh's grandmother.
i think a donation favor is the best use of money.

Also, check your job's (and Anthony's) employee matching policy. I know that most jobs will match your donation...so you can give double the money to both charities.
