I'm seriously considering a breast augmentation--looking for dr recommendations in NYC and a bunch of questions.
I have given it a lot of thought and I think I'm going to go for it. My boons are currently a 34B and in pretty good shape, but I'm vain and I want them to be perky and firm and a little bigger.
I want to use a dr in Manhattan because my family lives there and it will be easier for someone to pick me up and help me out during the recovery process.
Now a few questions:
1- How long is the recovery time? I want to get them done in February or April, but I only have a week to take off either month. Will I be able to go back to work after a week's rest?
2- Has anyone gotten them done and then had a baby? My DH and I have put TTC on hold for now, but it's not out of the question in the future. (I don't want to wait for the surgery till we have another kid, because who knows when that'll happen and I want to enjoy my new boobs while I'm younger vs. older.)
3- What's the ballpark figure for a breat augmentation these days? Someone told me 10K. True?
I think those are my main questions besides recommendations for doctors in Manhattan.
Oh, and how many consultations should I go on?
Any been there, done that advice would be much appreciated!

I was a 34B also- I went to a D+ with 375/390cc saline implants
I went with saline b/c I was uneven and you can't correct that with silcone
also- my doctor said I would have the same result either way- so way spend the extra money

I needed 7 days to feel human again- 3 weeks till I could sleep and felt like my old self

I don't have a baby yet- I plan to in the future- but I wouldn't wait- there is so medical reason to- mine are under the muscle and wouldn't infer with breast feeding
3- What's the ballpark figure for a breat augmentation these days? Someone told me 10K. True?
I spent $7K
as far as NYC doctors- I didn't like any of the ones I met with- I went with suffolk plastic surgeon- Dr ALder- VERY happy with my results- they look very natural
