That happens here alot. I end up telling my bf no more shopping till after Christmas since he never knows what anyone is gonna get him - besides there are alwayus killer sales after the holidays. It usually works. Good luck!

That's exactly what I tell him! Don't people know they aren't allowed to buy themselves anything in December?! Geez!

DH went to his MOM bc he wants a certain gift so bad. He told me, 'I mentioned it to my mom, she'll buy it for me, I just have to give her the info."
So I had to go to MIL and tell her not to buy the gift he wants 'wink wink'. I told her do not tell him I got it, and just go along with whatever info he gives you.
She better not ruin my surprise!!!

My DH went and BOUGHT the one thing he asked for for Christmas  I had to tell him I already got it and he returned it. Ugh.

I had the same issue with DH..I told him just to wait and see what others get him before he buys something that people know that he wanted for the holidays.
