I'm so amazed at how this kid is growing...

So Ava has always been a skinny kid. She never had those cute baby rolls that everyone loves to squeeze and pinch, she's always been a skinny minny. But in the last 6 months or so, she's gotten a little chubby belly because she hasn't grown in length for a while. She was busting out of 4T clothing because they were too tight on her belly, but the length was fine. Well, I'd say in the last two weeks, she's shot up in length, and there's not a single ounce of fat left on this kid's stomach Her pants are falling off her, and they're all too short It just amazes me to see how she grows. I weighed her to make sure she didn't lose weight, and she didn't, it just all redistributed. Anyway, I have no real point to this post. I just was shocked at how quickly she grows and how her body changes. So now she has a 3T waist with a 5T length. It should be fun trying to find something for her to wear

You know what's funny about kids clothes is that I dont know who they are sizing for...Caden is, by no means, a skinny kid. He has slimmed down quite a bit from when he was an infant but he's still quite hefty.....but most of his pants are fine for the length but falling down at that waist!!!! makes me wonder who they are making this stuff for ...

Awh! Lucky girl- sounds like she'll never have to worry about her weight It is amazing how fast they grow. I was looking at how ridiculous Sydnie looked in NB clothes when we took her home from the hospital and now she's almost ready for 3-6

It's amazing, isn't it?? My Lauren is the same way. A month ago, her 3T pants were too long on her, and this past week I noticed they fit, if not getting too short My mom said she got tall, but I hadn't seen it. Now I know she shot up in the last month..... She goes to the pedi for her 2-1/2 yr check up next week, can't wait to see what she weighs and how tall she is.

My DS was always like that too, now he seems to be slowing down in growth at age 4-1/2. But I have a feeling they will both be tall like daddy - he's 6' 3"!

Pants with the elastic and button on each side is our BF in our house. You know like the maternity pants.
My DS has long skinny legs and no wasit or butt! I was even able to put on a size 2T shorts on him this past summer. They were way too short but perfect at the waist. He is 5 yrs old.
