I'm so friggin tired of this...
....My job requires me to be here at 9am and I just cant seem to get here at that time every single day. On average I am 1-2 days late per week. I live in PA so the commute is just driving me insane sometimes i stay out here in LI and lately the traffic has been insane. I dont know how much longer I can do this being pregnant.
I really wanted to work until the end but i cant take my bosses attitude when I am late I am just under too much pressure. I am really considering just working part time starting in June until the baby is born (July 1st)
I am just in depressed mode.

I dont blame you, that is a hike! It sounds like maybe you should work p/t starting in June. If you are in a position where you can do that, it might be better.

If you can handle it, try to work part time. Any chance to work from home?

You KNOW that I feel your pain. It's the worst when you get out of the house early and then there is something that inevitably happens during the commute that makes it take FOREVER
I try to take it one day at a time, which I think you should too. And hopefully now that the weather should be getting nicer, things should ease up a bit on the roads (wishful thinking?)

Wow, that is SOME commute.
I live 10 min away from my job and still seem to stroll in at 9:05.
I give you credit. Something you may need to consider if you want to continue this. It takes a toll on you.

can you make a deal with your boss that you will stay later on the days you are late?

I wish i could but they are so annoying and give me such a hard time about time issues around here. I can do overtime but i have to get permission. And if i am late they want me to mark it down on my timesheet regardless. I am usually like 15-40 minutes late on average so it doesnt take a lot of money out of my check.

Re: I'm so friggin tired of this...
Sorry to hear that....that commute has to be a killer for you. Sorry your boss won't work out a deal w/ you.
I'm in a similar boat...my commute is anywhere between an hour & 10 minutes to an hour & 50 minutes in the morning & after 3 years of never being late, this year I've been late at least 6-7x's. My boss is understanding, but its tough b/c the kids' bell rings at 810, so if I'm not in, my principal is in my class waiting for me.
I just don't know how things are going to be later in the pregnancy.
