Im so proud.. may I brag ?

My 5yr old, just taught himself how to play MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB on the keyboard
He hasnt heard it in ages, or even played with a keyboard in ages. Our friend plays the piano and he saw him play last week when we went to visit, and he's been obsessed with learning to play the piano.
So my hubby took out his big keyboard he has.

Hes quick with learning ANYTHING, and once he's on a KICK, forget it.

I have to share youtubes of him stacking cups, dont know if I ever mentioned his speedstacking addiction.
he does better than the teens on the videos (you have to see it to understand it, there may be some other dorks out there who actually know what it is too

and he has mastered one full color on the rubix cube.

at least this all keeps his mind occupied.

He's a genius! I've played the Piano since I was 5 and it warms my heart to see other kids that can master that too! Be proud Anna. You have every right to brag

That's a huge accomplishment!!! We couldn't afford piano lessons when I was little, so I taught myself how to play. That is a hard thing for a 5 year old to do and it shows a lot about the kind of kid he is! Tell your son he rocks!

My dad's going to be OH SO proud tomorrow when we go visit them.
My dad's known to play all sorts of dorky Italian stuff by ear on the piano

i don't have a musical bone in my body, so i think anyone who knows how to do that stuff is pretty cool!!!

Thanks Phyl, yeah, there's something about him, anything he puts his hands and mind on, he can master. How cool that you know how to play the piano. I wish I knew how to play an instrument.

I played clarinet in middle school, and that was it.. hmmm, maybe a hobby to pick up in my early mid life crisis

silly question. for moms of more than one and have one that has a special talent/skill/knack for things. do you ever feel bad bragging about him ? not that I feel bad, but i feel like i should brag three times equally like I should find something about each of them each time I say something about one of them, am I being silly?

and he's a hard act to follow

That is a special talent! I was lucky enough to be like that and so is my daughter. My husband on the other hand is musically challenged - so bad that I actually feel sorry for him!
