I'm trying to figure out...
where my cousin went on his honeymoon...easy thing would be to ask him but we no longer speak for some strange reason...

That resembles the flag of the Phillipines....The island sort of resembles the lower island as well.

That is definitely the flag design of The Philippines...the weird shape on the right is an outline of the archipelago.

Philippines flag has blue on top and red on bottom.
Here's the outline of the Philippines. Doesn't look anything like the picture you posted.
