I'm uncertain if i should book now....

I'm afraid to book Vegas now in case the prices go down, but at the same time, i don't want to lose the price I am getting at the moment.
What do i do?
We are going in August and i just have this feeling that the prices are going to drop for that month.
But i am planning this trip for 6 people and i don't want to have to tell them that the prices went up!
I'm so confused!

I would book now - most times, the lowest prices are what is available now.

I'm flying in August for a wedding to Ohio - I booked last month and the tickets have since gone up $150 each!

Many airlines will give you a credit also if the price drops after you book.

where are you flying from?

we are currently looking for airfare deals to vegas (just got back from our april trip and need to rebook asap for july/aug)

i can't find anything under 260 pp each way on anything!

I can tell you right now that August is going to be CRAZY for the airfare.
Vegas has two houseware trade shows that month in the two middle weeks of August. There is also a fashion trade show 08/24-27... The prices from last week went up over drastically overnight due to the airfare. Jet Blue was $488 and the following day $523!

If you take a non direct flight, a 7 hour flight out of LGA I just found a 4 night trip in the luxor for $564 ppinc taxes but for three rooms. Where you squishing all 6 in one room?.
