I'm wondering...
Please bear with me here... I am desperate for answers as to what happened to my pregnancy.
There was a thread on the Infertility board a few days ago about Clomid, where a number of people (myself included) said they were able to get PG on clomid, but miscarried shortly thereafter. I have also read that Clomid thins one's endometrium, and that a thin endometrium may lead to miscarriage. In fairness, a number of the ladies on the IF board said that the Clomid had nothing to do with their m/c, but I wonder...
Has this happened to anyone else? Again, I'm not a scientist or anything, just a grieving woman who is desperate to understand "why"...

Re: I'm wondering...
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't answer your questions because I've never taken clomid. But have you expressed these concerns to your doctor?
Also, sorry for asking, but did you have a d&c? From what I know about that, the doctor may be able to run tests to find out why you miscarried. This may be an option so you can find closure

Re: I'm wondering...
Thanks for your response. I did have the d&c but haven't gotten the results yet... I am just doing my own research in case the d&c is inconclusive.

Re: I'm wondering...
Are you seeing an RE or did your OB prescribe Clomid? I could be wrong but I've heard that you should be monitored if you're put on Clomid... maybe that's why?
I am sorry for your grief. I did the same thing wracking my brain and researching what could have gone wrong. Sometimes its just bad luck. In my case, it seems I do have an issue since I've had 3 in a row but I just started to see an RE (after 3 losses) and I will say that its put my mind at ease that I'll at least be monitored so that we can hopefully figure out my issue.

Re: I'm wondering...
Thanks for the feedback. I was prescribed Clomid by an RE, I took it as directed, and was closely monintored. I think I'm just starting to lose all faith in humanity, or at least in the medical establishment... LOL

Re: I'm wondering...
I'm sorry, I don't know anything about clomid. I just wanted to say I am sorry for your loss and I hope you find some answers!
