image resizer tutorial
Holy crap...I just spent 20 minutes futzing around trying to resize a photo...
Is there somewhere on this site any kind of tutorial on how to resize your photos correctly! If not, can someone please write one!
I would bet one million of my fine english pound coins that I am not the only one wanting this!
Come on all you smarty pants! Teach me!
eta..I mean for adding photos to your posts on LIF...

Re: image resizer tutorial
Put the photo's on a website like shutterfly.
Right click on the image you'd like to post.
Copy the properties
Click on "insert web image"
Paste the properties into the box.
Picture comes out normal size

Re: image resizer tutorial
I always pick 40% to resize it at. With my old camera, I chose 20% for normal looking photos. You have to play around with the resizer.

Re: image resizer tutorial
Or Click on "My Family" link above ^^ Click Upload Pictures Click Browse Select your photo from your computer Click Open Under For Album, click the drop down box & select an album.
After they're done uploading Click on "My Albums". Click on the photo you like. Right click again on the photo & Left Click on Properties. Where you see "Address URL" using your mouse, highlight the address, eg. http://www.lifamilies.com/i/pa/2990.jpg - right click, select copy (Ctrl+C). Go back your post Select Insert Web Image Past (Ctrl+V) & click the ok button.
Just an FYI Regular Size Photo - Tiny Photo -
Just delete the "th" to make it bigger.

Re: image resizer tutorial
I always just use the Image Resizer link above. Within seconds, the image is resized to a size you can post.
