Images linked!! Confusing wondfo OPKs
I'm using OPKs and temping for the first time this cycle and on Monday I had a pretty dark line on the OPK but not exactly the same as the test line. The following day, yesterday, the same thing. I feel like I don't have a good grasp of what a positive OPK wondfo would look like. I'd like to post a pic of both these for someone else's opinion, but stupid question number 283492834789347 how do I post a pic??!! ARGH
TIA
ETA - I would also like to link up my FF chart, because my temperature is all over the place!!!!

Confusing wondfo OPKs
The line has to be as dark or darker. Not just a darkish line. You can always use the wondfos and then when you think it's as dark or darker, double check with a digital smiley.

Re: Confusing wondfo OPKs
I know! I find it hard to decipher the as dark or darker though.
Here they are from Mon and Tues of this week.
Do they typically get gradually darker and then less dark again?
And here is my wonky temp chart so far this month. Any thoughts?

Neither look like a positive to me - the test strip has to be AS dark or darker than the control strip.

Thanks, Jess. I'm so worried I'm going to miss it. If I do miss a positive, will it get gradually less dark?

That's what I thought. But then why is the Monday test darker than Tuesday? I thought they gradually got darker. Maybe it's the time of day? I usually test when I get home from work, around 6-6:30.

This is why I never used the OPK's, I used the CBEFM digital. You will see often that you might surge more than once in a cycle before you actually get that positive.

Sometimes you can catch the beginning of a surge or the end of one.
During the days you think you ovulate I would start testing twice a day. Morning and then maybe like 3-6pm. You should be able to catch your surge.
It doesn't always evenly get darker and then evenly get lighter. But when it's positive you will see the lines are identical in darkness if not darker.

Re: Images linked!! Confusing wondfo OPKs
Thanks, Ladies. I feel like maybe I didn't miss it because of my temp chart . . . or did I?
After this month I may have to invest in the CBEFM - where did you buy this?
ETA: and do you mean the actual monitor, which is of course $$$ or the smiley sticks?

I found it hard to decipher the as dark or darker than the control line too. When I actually got a positive though I didn't have to squint or question it at all. It was clearly positive. I read somewhere that early afternoon was the best time. I did them in the morning with fmu because mine said to and at 2pm. I got a bfp first month using opks. Good Luck!

Re: Images linked!! Confusing wondfo OPKs
It looks like you are getting close. If you can, Test 3x a day at this point. Morning, Mid Afternoon, Before bed. When I was testing, I noticed that my surge didn't last long and if I didn't test that many times, I would miss it.
Hopefully you'll get your BFP this month and it won't matter, but testing a few times each cycle helps you zero in on when to expect a +.

From the pics you posted, its a definite negative. If you are afraid of missing it, test like crazy -- its one of the perks of using the Wondfo's -- they are so cheap! You are definitely getting closer but the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line! Good luck!

Re: Images linked!! Confusing wondfo OPKs
I always thought they get gradually darker, but not this time around. On Tuesday I had what I thought was very close to a positive, but not definite. I thought I was definitely gearing up for O. Then I tested this morning and it was clearly negative and lighter. I was so confused and thought maybe I just missed it. Then I tested tonight around midnight and it showed up positive immediately and was dark. When you get it there's no doubting it's positive. Good luck!!!

Thanks for all the replies and the feedback. I took another yesterday evening and one this morning, all came back with results similar to those posted above. My temperature hasn't increased yet either. Looks like this is going to be a long cycle.
Thanks for the
