Immune System
Do you feel that since you have been pg that your immune system has been compromised? I feel that since I have been pg I have been so sick (not m/s just sick) I had bronchitis back in Jan. and now I am so sick since last Sunday. I have been to the dr. 3 times this week and I can't get rid of this cough. Since I am pg I can't take cough syrup more than robitussin. I am on prednisone for the second time this week and now iM on a zpack. I feel like Im not going to get better at all. DH is sick too now b/c I got him sick. This weekend has been just miserable and I feel like every time I come on here, I just complain! Im also afraid that my baby is going to have 14 heads from all this medicine now too! I just feel like this

Re: Immune System
Yes, definitely. I've been sick, pretty much consistently, since mid January. I've had a stomach virus and a never-ending cold. My daughter keeps getting sick and we've been passing it back and forth. I seem to get everything that I'm exposed to. It's really frustrating!

Re: Immune System
Definitely. And when you work with kids like I do, you want to walk around with Purell, Clorox wipes and Lysol.

I do work with kids. And I have purell on my desk, clorox wipes by my sink, and lysol in my cabinet :)

Re: Immune System
yup...I got a wicked sinus infection a few weeks ago and it lingered for almost two weeks....it was horrendous....and working at a school where germs fester constantly doesn't help.

Re: Immune System
I feel so lucky that it's actually been the opposite for me. I've been healthy my whole pregnancy...I contribute it to the prenatal vitamins and iron supplements. I hope it gets better for you ladies!

Re: Immune System
I did feel that way for a while in the beginning. But all those prenatal vitamins have seem to kicked in and help boost my immune system.

Re: Immune System
i feel lucky because for me it has been the opposite. i also work with kids and usually am sick the whole winter, but not this year. i think the added vitamins and rest and the eating better have really helped. that being said, i had one miserable sinus infection last week, so i feel for you!

Same here! Although I just attribute it to dumb luck!
Feel better ladies!
