impact vs. womb pics
Im trying to decide which place to go to. If you chose one over the other can you tell me your reasons. I dont care if I have to travel. I just want to get good pics for the $$ im going to spend.
Also can you tell me how many weeks you were when you went. I think they say the best time to go is around 27 weeks.
Thanks Ladies!!!

Re: impact vs. womb pics
I can't compare, bc I don't know about impact. I went to womb pics. I really liked it there. They were very nice, place was so clean and felt like a spa setting..low lights, comfy beds. The equipment was top of the line.
I paid $140 for the sono, a sheet of wallets, a sheet of 3x5s (you pick the picture for each sheet) copies of all other pics and then all pics on a CD. There are all different packages, but that's the one we chose. I think for like $160 or $170 you get the same plus the whole session on DVD.
HTH! ETA: I was 27 or 28 weeks (can't remember)

Re: impact vs. womb pics
I went to impact and paid $200 for the gold plus package (originally $250 but there's a $50 lif coupon if u do a search for the thread with the impact contest).
You can see their website for the exact contents of the package but basically it was 2 visits that lasted about 20 mins (the videos I got are 15 mins and 17 mins- he takes a few minutes to situate himself before recording), a cd with pics on a disc- maybe 25ish images, a strip of black and white pics- like the strip u get at a regular sono, and then 5 or 6 color pics that are bigger.
The guy is really nice and I actually went one time that the baby was nestled up against my anterior placenta and b/c we couldn't get "good shots" he told me to come back another day. So, I kind of had a free visit (and that included a gender determination).
So, here r four pics from Impact- the first two r at 24 weeks and the 2nd r at 33.

Re: impact vs. womb pics
I can't speak for Womb but I went to Impact. Scheduling was super easy and they have a bunch of packages to choose from (and coupons on their site) I think we ended up paying like $150 or $175 and we were there for like 45 mins, got 15 printed pics, a cd with 20+ pics and a DVD of all the pics and movement video he tried taking. I walked out with a bunch of things, I cant even remember what exactly lol
Pics are in my album if you'd like to see. I went at 27 weeks

Re: impact vs. womb pics
I went to womb pics at 31 weeks and had a good experience. The first time I went DS was not completely cooperating. He kept putting his hand over his face. I was not thrilled with the pics we got so we went back a few days later and the sono tech worked with us for 45 minutes until we had pics that we loved. She realyl went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the product. We actually ended up with 2 DVD's (one from each session) as well as a sheet of wallets and a sheet of 3x5's. She also printed out all of the other pics that we liked but chose not to get enlarged. all in all it was a great experience and they really worked with us to make sure we were happy with the pictures.
