Oh I love it, especially if its made in June. Which is what most people in the UK do...the longer is sits around, the better!! I like it with some cream or maybe some custard. In the UK everyone has it as their wedding cakes...

I was commenting to DH the other night that despite the fact that it's talked about all the time, I have never been in the presence of a fruit cake.

Although I have never eaten fruitcake, I can't say I hate it. My parents love it. And I just remember as a kid watching them eat it at the kitchen table with coffee. So it brings me good memories. So in a way, I love fruitcake
