In addition to not sleeping, Katie has a red rash on her face..
It's bad and getting worse and looks like dried skin/red bumpy rash. I dont know if its a reaction to the cereal/fruit or maybe all the drooling...I feel like such a mess...I cant even figure this rash out!!

where is it located? if it's around the mouth and bumpy, chances are it's drool. DD gets it around where the paci is.

I agree if it's on her chin, it's probably teething. You do know that excessive drool is a sign of cox sackie, right?

It may be all the drool. She's had it a few days now. I cant blame my MIL but I sure as he l l wont be letting her kiss Katie any time soon on the face.

Alex has a rash around his mouth and a little bit on his cheeks. His teacher in daycare said it could be from drooling. It comes and goes. I thought he was allergic to cereal/fruit but I don't think that's the case.

This is so weird..Sydney one of my twins has little red bumps on her belly..a rash that looks like prickly heat and she used to sleep through the night now she wakes up every 3 hours..I chalked it up to teething..Do you think the rash is from the teething? I called the Doc today but missed his call back. If you find out let me know and i will do the same. I just bought the Aveeno diaper rash cream..I was going to put it on her belly to see if the rash will go away. Did you recently give you DD different food?

Meant to answer above, it's not Coxsakie - we've been through that and this is different...thank God.
As for food, she was having bananas and oatmeal so we cut that out. I thought maybe that's what it was.
I suspect its the teething and drooling but I'm going to call her dr in a day or two if it doesnt get better.
DH is going to help me tonight with the wakings...I need to sleep or there is no way I'll make it through work tomorrow.

That's exactly what I was feeding Alex Bananas & Oatmeal but I didn't stop. Like I said it comes and goes, so I have no idea what it is. I hope tonight will be a better night for you. Now go and get some rest!

It is the time of year for eczema, Ryans has been bad again. He always got it on his cheeks, and elbows.
