In between diaper sizes??

DS is a little too big for the newborn diapers, they are leaving red marks on his legs, seem so tight....but I tried 3 brands of the 1's and they are all seeming to be too big ( he actually leaked out of the Eckerds one ) ...

Do I stick with the newborn or try to make the 1's work.

Which is the lesser of the 2 evils?

I would rather a bigger diaper then a tight one that leaves marks and may leak. I have been very happy w/ pampers swaddlers and now DS uses the pampers cruisers.

I would use the bigger size.

One of the nurses in the hospital changed DS and the NB size was a bit small. It was too tight around his thigh (and he has skinny legs!). I noticed a few minutes later when I was BF (he was leaning on that same leg while BF) that his leg had turned totally a dark purple. I freaked out. I opened the diaper and had DH called the nurse immediatelly. The diaper and combination of leaning on that leg had cut the circulation in his leg.
