In-ground pool maintenance?
Hi - one of the houses that we are looking at has an in-ground pool. Do you have any idea of how much the up keep is?

It's about $200-300 to open it, $75 an hour to clean/vaccum and $200 to close.
chemicals cost about $200 for the season (guestimating)
my electricity bill goes up about $250 a month (but that is also air-conditioning) - If you have a heated pool, it will be more, but you will probably use the pool more. My pool guy actually told us that his pool is heated by gas - so that's an option as well.

We pay $35 a week to clean, we paid about $150 for chemicals, and $200 to open, $200 to close it. I am not sure how much the electricity costs....
